ASCTech welcomes new and reassigned employees

Summer 2014 is a busy one for ASCTech as it continues to support computing around the College of Arts and Sciences and it welcomes one new team member and sees three others taking on different roles.

Gary Sellers will assume the responsibilities of Asset Manager. In this role, he will seek innovative and efficient methods and processes to track all of ASCTech’s capital and non-capital assets. He will also assist the Service Desk team with classroom support as well as faculty/staff office support. Gary has been with ASCTech for about two years and before that managed data backup, email and FTP servers for the Arts & Humanities

Michael Hardesty moves to a fulltime position with ASCTech as Manger of Application Development. In this role, he will promote project development in three basic categories: research, educational management, and social software. Previously, Michael was the product owner for ASCTech’s GradCentral project. He looks forward to, "providing professional and efficient service to university scholars, colleagues, stakeholders and partners."
