Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. While this work occurs, language referencing protected class status or other activities prohibited by Ohio Senate Bill 1 may still appear in some places. However, all programs and activities are being administered in compliance with federal and state law.

Upgrade Office 2016

Revision of Microsoft office logo
If you’re still running Office 2010 or 2013 on your university-purchased machine, consider upgrading to Office 2016. Office 2016 offers many improvements including the following:

  • Better security
  • Stronger cross-device support for Android, Windows, and Apple tablets (including iPads)
  • Enhanced ability to install OneNote with syncing across devices
  • Upgraded Apple experience that is much more similar to Windows, especially with Outlook
  • Improved access to email archived via Outlook
Best of all, upgrading is generally self-service via your Casper or Service Desk utility and usually only takes about 15 minutes. For more information, visit the ASCTech Support Services at 009 Denney Hall or email asctechhelp@osu.edu.
